Forza Driver Ratings!
Hello men of the leaf! Just thought I’d let you know we of the IFCA have been monitoring your racing activities with great interest. As a result we thought it wise to incorporate your performance results into our rankings list. The list includes league drivers from other leagues as well. These are drivers who regularly compete in organized racing. The list is somewhat like the old popular IFCA World Rankings list but far more accurate. It’s based on your series race performance and nothing else.
Your calculated rating is computer generated by a program we created for FM4. It basically states that you will gain or lose points depending on where you finish compared to where you were predicted to finish. It also takes into account the strength of the other drivers in your lobby as a part of the prediction. The more races that are run, the more accurate the ratings become. So far we’ve found the program to be very accurate and getting better every week.
Our hope is that this ratings system can bring continuity and relative value to those that race in Forza, so that they can see at a glance how strong a driver is, and have something fun to shoot for. We think this will help the racing community come together more, whether you race here at home, or at the IFCA. We are already seeing a kind of cross-over, and now you can get credit for racing in different leagues.
The IFCA has its own in house rankings list for a 16 man invitational at the end of the year too. All you need do to attempt to be a part of that is race 1 race per month in any of our series. Prizes will include games, cash, and pizza.
So whether you race here, or the IFCA, or VM, or SimRacers, or the ISRA, there is added reason to race more and climb the Forza organized racing rankings.
Our overall list will be updated Monday nights after the IFCA Bone Stock series. Go here to see the overall top 40+ list now.

Re: Forza Driver Ratings!
Ah, Diablo, your tag is well known to us, and always feared. lol Keep doing well in events, and you will go far. Some are already looking at the list and seeing if their rivals can be picked off for some "easy" points. Combined, there are somewhere around 15-20 different series from the most popular leagues at any one time.
It will be funny to suddenly see a driver not normally at a particular series, just show up! This can be done in all IFCA events. All of our seasons are short 4 week events, and anyone at any time can join a single race, even a final. Of course drivers who do that will be required to start at the back.
Good luck! And whatever you do, stay out of my races! lol (jk.)

Very cool Don.
Either Abe picked up a ton of speed, or I slowed down a bit! Lol. Great things Don, hopefully we will all end up in the same place again.

Thanks, yeah, Abe really has picked up speed in FM4 no doubt. I've slowed down a little myself, but, new Fanatec pedals will arrive Friday!

Re: Forza Driver Ratings!
Very cool indeed Don. Sorry I had to bail on the GT series, but I will be returning. Nov and Dec are my hectic months for work and weekends have been taken up by family matters.
But as Arnie said.....I'll be back.

Re: Forza Driver Ratings!
No problem Asteroid, real life is always first. Just completed a very exciting final in Pro GT1 today. Next season will be different, a return to the super fun format of true team racing using the IFCA Endurance relay format. Laughed so hard during the races I nearly couldn't drive.

Re: Forza Driver Ratings!
One other thing for those who are wondering why their rating may have radically dropped in 1 week, is that we count DNF's against you. If you DNF because of a lag out, or any reason, it is the same as in real life and you will take a points hit. We also feel that this is one way to motivate people to stay in a race even when the race isn't going well for you. Losing a few points is always better than losing a lot more points with a DNF. The other reason we include DNF results is because it is a way to add tension and realism to the racing. It also prevents the rating list from becomming too stagnant. Anyone can have a DNF, even the Master's.
The next list update will occur later tonight. http://ifca.highforum.net/t5124-ifca-top-40-ratings-list
