IFCA events and driver ratings
Hello men of the "leaf!" New IFCA events are underway, or about to take place. And now you can earn a rating that accurately reflects your strength/skill as a driver.
Things have been extremely simplified for you the racer at the IFCA this year. To enter a series, post a time on the leaderboard at the designated track with the correct car, and you're in. (or post a pic of your result on the forum, or send me the pic at GTDon@msn.com) If you miss qualifying or just want to run a race, show up at race time, and we will slot you in at the back.
Racing at the IFCA will earn you a driver rating through a computer program that is highly accurate. We can now see at a glance who is where on the Forza skill level. Whether you are a Master, Pro, Semi-Pro, Expert, or Class driver you will know who you are up against in each race.
The emphasis this year at the IFCA is all about ratings points, and less about winning each series. Once you run 4 races, you'll move from a provisional rating to an official IFCA rating. To be active you only have to run 1 race (not series) per month. All the series are very short 4 week events. Those 16 drivers with the highest ratings at the end of the year will be invited to the IFCA Championship for all the Free beer, pizza, and prizes!

missing driver?
Cool Midnite, btw, don't know if you know GLR Diablo, but he made his way into the Bone Stock series grid last night, and I'm not sure if it was just a mistake or not? He posted a time in the stock 2010 Shelby GT500 at Sebring Short, but he may not have been aware that this automatically placed him on the grid for the race on Monday. Just wondering if he missed the race or this was just a coincident? I have him on the Road America grid for next Monday just in case he wants to run. We'd love to have him.
Thanks,
GTDon

Re: IFCA events and driver ratings
I ran a time just to see where I stood, didn't realize it would submit... hmm. MW3 launch was a major distraction last night, but I may run next week depending on if I'm busy or not. So, if you put me on the grid, that's fine with me. I'll do what I can.
